• Leave Pickup: One of the more obvious, but still important, service is picking up leaves, twigs and other debris that has fallen from trees. A lot of people really don’t understand the damage leaves can cause if they aren’t dealt with quickly! First off, you don’t want to be THAT neighbor who doesn’t pick up their leaves, and whose same leaves are blown over by the wind to their neighbors’ clean lawn! Also, and more importantly, old, dead and wet leaves is an invitation for diseases and insects; diseases and insects will destroy your lawn!
• Fertilizing: Fertilizer will help give your soil the nutrients it needs to fight off diseases and insects, and to survive and thrive through winter. It’s time to prepare your lawn for the long winter season
• Aeration: Aerating your soil will loosen it up so that it can get the sun, water and nutrients it needs to survive. Over time, mostly through foot traffic, your soil becomes compacted, and when it’s compacted parts of your soil are missing out on important nutrients.
• Mow your Lawn: During the fall time, we recommend mowing your lawn once in October, and then again at the end of the fall, for one last cut before the winter. Your grass will grow faster and longer during the fall.
