Just finished a summer pruning job over in Medway MA this morning; this particular customer gave us a call late last week, and asked us about our pruning services. We explained both the process and the benefits of pruning.

What are the benefits?

Pruning helps control the growth of branches and leaves on your tree or plant; this will help you maintain a healthy plant and you can control the size.

A lot of people ask us why it’s important to control the size of the plant. Well, it will help your trees and plants sustain a longer and healthier life, and plus, it gets rid of those ugly dead tree branches and limbs.

This particular customer had a lot of big trees with dead wood hanging off the branches.

Pruning will help remove these ugly dead branches and wood, making your trees and plants more aesthetically pleasing, and more sturdy.

The end of summer is one of the best times to start pruning your trees, plants or bushes. If you wait too long, you can really damage the health of your trees. Also, pruning does not take place in the fall, so if you miss this time period, you will have to wait until winter!
